On Saturday, Team Canada played our last game before we make our epic journey to the Blood and Thunder World Cup in Dallas in December. Our opponent was Team Ontario Roller Derby.
The Ontarians played well and brought everything they had, challenging Canada right down to the last jam. Canada took the win 195-99 in front of an electric crowd in Alliston, ON.
We’d like to thank Team Ontario for helping us get ready for the World Cup. It was a fun bout and we hope to do it again in the future.
Canada also spent Sunday solidifying our strategies, team play and cohesiveness to ready us for Dallas.
We’d like to thank Misfit Militia Roller Derby for putting on the event and offering us a place to practice on Sunday and for being a classy, professional and organized group. You rock!
