Being small always seemed to be a disadvantage in certain aspects of everyday life, then I found roller derby.  It’s been almost 3 years since I first planted my face in the gym floor of my first practice.  Despite a rocky start, I fell in love with the sport and never looked back!  These days, I’m taking down girls more than twice my size!  I’ve worked my way up from the Oil City rookies and have been the Captain of the All-Stars for the 2011 season.   I was not the athletic kid growing up, but roller derby has transformed me into an athlete.  I’m excited and extremely proud to be chosen for Team Canada!
